Silhouettes at Sunset

We've really been enjoying Ryan's time off from work for the national holiday... In some respects it feels less like a holiday for me, since my work is ever present and continuing. ;) As a mom, it's hard to feel on vacation at home because there are ALWAYS chores you could be doing, or away because everything is 5x harder with a baby away from home! But, on Thursday afternoon we got away to the park by the river for a few hours, and it truly felt like vacation...

It's late and I need to go to bed, so the pictures are without captions. And there are LOT, but we even took way more than this. It's hard to pare down when our little girl has so many expressions, and then the sun starts setting as you prepare to go! She's looking so grown up...

Thank you, Lord, for a place of escape...
